If your iPhone keeps restarting especially after Download this App, then shows the Apple logo when it restarts on its own, you're probably scratching your head wondering what could be going on. There are many reasons why this could happen and we have found the most likely reasons and solutions to get your iPhone back to normal. If you have this problem with your iPad, the same advice generally applies.

Note for  iPhone XS Max, X, XS, and XR

While this issue can occur on any iOS device for a variety of reasons, it appears from online forums and social media discussions that the iPhone X family may be particularly susceptible to this problem. We don't know if these phones restart and show the Apple logo more than any other model, but it seems that more and more people who own these phones are complaining.

Anyway, the most reliable solution seems to be to reset the iPhone by going to Settings General Reset Reset all settings.

Your iPhone settings will be reset to default values. This includes things like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and home screen layout settings. All customizations made in iPhone settings will be lost. For example, if you changed the wallpaper or ringtone, those customizations will be lost. Data and media on your iPhone will not be affected by the reset. Your pictures, music, and other data will not be deleted.

  1. Charge your phone

If your iPhone turns off when the battery is low, try charging it and see if that fixes the problem. If the battery is completely discharged, the charging process may take several minutes. You can optionally enable power saving mode when the battery is low and you want to prevent the phone from turning off completely.

  1. Check  Battery Health

Your iPhone's battery may be low, resulting in sudden restarts or shutdowns. If this happens when your phone is under stress, such as playing games, it indicates that the battery is likely to be the culprit. Here's how to check your iPhone's battery health:

 1) Open the Settings app on your iPhone.

 2) Tap on Battery.

 3) Select Battery status and charging.

 4) Scroll down and find the Battery Health section.

In the "Battery Status" section, you can see the maximum capacity of the battery and its current charge level. A healthy battery should have at least 80% capacity. If the battery is below 80% of its maximum capacity, it may be time to replace it.

  1. Restart to fix random software errors

If your iPhone turns off unexpectedly and not because of a dead battery, it could be caused by a software problem. Try force restarting your iPhone by pressing and holding the power button until the "Slide to Power Off" slider appears. Then swipe to turn off the device and wait a few seconds before pressing the power button to turn it back on.

If you have an iPhone that doesn't have a physical home button, you have to hold the volume up button and the side button to see the slider. The iPhone 8 and 8s were the last models to feature a physical home button. So if you have one or something older (like iPhone 6s or iPhone 7) you have to use this method.
